新月的精确时刻和日全食的精确时刻间隔只有7分钟,是因为只有在新月期间才会有一个日食,而且只有当新月在月亮交点之一的9度范围以内。  太阳的日全食发生在10度的巨蟹座。

看看你的出生星图。 10度的巨蟹座出现在你出生星图的第几宫? 为什么？ 因为无论在什么宫位，它都将是你生命与日食产生共振的区域。你们学占星的学生都已经知道怎么做了。 你可以在手机上查看你的星图，并且说出这个日食将会发生在哪个宫位。

The reason that the exact moment of the New Moon and the exact moment of the Solar Eclipse are only 7 minutes apart is because you can only have a "Solar" Eclipse during a New Moon, and only when the New Moon is within 9 degrees of either Lunar Node.  This Total Eclipse of the Sun occurs at 10 degrees of Cancer.

Look at your birth chart.  In what house does 10 degrees of Cancer occur in your birth chart?  Why?  Because whatever "house" is will be the area of your life this Solar Eclipse resonates with.  You students of astrology already know how to do this.  You can look at your chart on your phone and tell what "house" this Eclipse is going to occur in.

If you don't know how to do this, don't worry - its relatively easy.  A chart is like a pizza divided into 12 slices - called "houses."  Look at the signs and numbers in the outer wheel, the rim of the wheel.  Look for the sign Cancer.  Then look for the number, this will be the degree (oftentimes the minutes are listed too.)  When you find Cancer if the number is before 10 then the Eclipse technically falls in that house.  If the number is after 10 the Eclipse will be in the house that precedes it.  (See photos below.)

So much for the technical data, right?  What could this Solar Eclipse mean in your life right now?

H1 - Recognize your self-interest and take appropriate action.  Asserting yourself effectively is the key to creating a better situation.  

H2 - Realize your value and decide if something is worth it or not.  Decisions affecting finances are likely.

H3 - Find a way to say what needs to be said, to express what's on your mind.  Trust your feelings.  Write it like song lyrics if you need to.

H4 - Consider what kind of home life or environment you really want.  Decisions about family, moving and or domestic security are likely.

H5 - Trust your instincts with creative projects.  Listen to your inner child.  Sometimes you need to just celebrate life without judging what you feel.

H6 - If your job and your daily routine isn't nurturing you or creating the security you need it may be time to change someth

H7 - Partnerships both personal and professional are highlighted now.  Decisions about how to handle emotionally sensitive situations in your relationship life are likely.

H8 - Do you trust your feelings, especially in the deepest most intimate parts of your life?  Your decisions are weighed on trust now, be it love or money.  Listen to your instincts.

H9 - Consider what it is you really need before imposing your opinion on others.   Decisions about travel and classes are also likely.

H10 - If you feel you're ready this is a chance to show others what you can do in your professional life.  Career decisions are likely.

H11 - Friendships may be emphasized in some way, especially those friends that are like family to you.  If you've been there for them, they'll be there for you.

H12 - Sometimes a spiritual experience just means having compassion for someone.  Of course, forgiveness doesn't mean you'll continue to accept dysfunctional behavior.
